About you

- Significant experience with building high-performance JavaScript based client-side components
- Complex web applications
- RESTful web services
You like working on customer/user facing features implemented in JavaScript, but you’re agnostic about specific front-end technologies. You enjoy working on the service that powers your features. You’re nimble enough to move from front-end to mid-tier code and you’re happy when doing so.
What Do You Need To Have
- 3 years of experience developing large scale websites.
- Mastery of JavaScript and modern web development.
- Knowledge of responsive web design.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with one or more JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Angular 2, React).
Nice To Have Experience With
- Accessibility, understanding of ARIA specifications and WCAG guidelines
- Server side rendering technologies such as ASP.NET
- Unit Testing
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.
- Experience with Azure technology stack.
What Will You Be Working On
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to design an attractive, efficient site experience
- Writing maintainable, large scale CSS and Javascript
- Create clean, accessible and testable markup
- Coaching junior developers and setting best practices.
- Review peer developers’ code and provide feedback
- Maintaining a living style guide
- Advocate for great UX throughout the organization
- Client side: Angular, Angular 2, jQuery, SASS.
- Build tools: NPM, Gulp.
- Server side: ASP.NET, C#.
- Other: Jira, Git, Bitbucket, TeamCity, Octopus.
