Purpose of Position
 
Provide overall DBS Leadership (Lean Manufacturing) to Operations for the Trojan Technologies Businesses located in Canada, USA, Europe and China.   This position significantly impacts family of Trojan Technologies ability to be globally competitive in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Growth.  This position is also instrumental in the development of a base of Trojan Associates with a solid understanding of our operating philosophy.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Execute the Global Operations Lean Manufacturing (DBS) strategy across all Business Units.
• Plan, Prepare, Facilitate, Lead, and Ensure Sustainment of DBS Lean implementation at each site.
• Promote & Lead the establishment of Lean Manufacturing (DBS) tools.
• Drives “best practices” in all areas of responsibility.

 
Background and Skill
 

• Ability to travel internationally (50-75% travel)
• College Degree, University Degree or equivalent in a related area
• Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement experience and background
• Strong manufacturing background
• Six Sigma background preferred
• Strong informal leadership / followership skills.
• Excellent communications and facilitation skills.
• Good writing and administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing, power point, spreadsheet, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management
• Self-sufficient, enthusiastic, team oriented, lives the “continuous improvement” philosophy.
• Fact driven problem solver.
• Ability to articulate the DBS philosophy in a non-compromising manner.
