Position Title: Machine Operator
Department: Production
Supervisor: Shop Supervisor
Position Summary:
This is an entry-level machine operator positon for a fast-paced automotive manufacturer located in London, ON. The candidate will be responsible for setups, tool changes, and production of quality of manufactured products. Complete hourly quality checks utilizing measuring equipment. Ensures equipment and work areas are clean, orderly, performing basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment. Detailed-orientated with accuracy for completing documents and tags for quality, production, and inventory records. Other duties assigned.

• Strong mathematical skills and required attention to detail.
• Problem solver.
• Possess a positive work ethic with team based attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with management in regards to specifics on job assignments, clarification on tasks, and request assistance when issues occur.
• Attention to detail in regards to tasks and assignments.
• Familiar with automotive based quality standards.
• Self-starter that can work with minimal supervision.
• Adaptable to a changing work environment.
• Physical ability to work in manufacturing plant environment.
• Completion of secondary school or equivalent.

Wage:
·       Starting rate $13.50 hourly, progressing to permanent full-time status at $15.38 with benefits.
