Position Summary:

Are you someone who is focused on continuous improvement, seeking and implementing the best cutting edge technology solutions? You believe IT should do more than just support the business and should be passionate about the products you make. The individual in this position will use their skill set to own supporting infrastructure and augment the development process of our product through the mastery of their skill and DevOps practices. 

What we’d like you to do:

• Plan, implement and maintain IT infrastructure and practices including: servers, networking, firewalls, phone systems (PBX & Smartphones), Azure and Service Desk
• Responsible for security within the facilities and systems
• Assist the development team in product development implementing DevOps practices
• Responsible IT Vendor management, procurement, asset lifecycle
• Other duties as required

You should be someone who has/is:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience
• University or College degree in Computer Science with demonstrated excellence in your field of study
• Experience working in a DevOps culture
• Experience with Cloud Based Architecture, Azure is a bonus
• Experience in a leadership role, capable of training, mentoring and managing multiple staff
• A quick learner of new technologies, programming languages and a reasonable understanding of development platforms and practices
• Some knowledge and background in the social media space
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, retain flexibility and maintain composure under pressure
• Energy and creativity a must, with strong problem solving skills
• Due to the nature of our industry, you could be asked to submit a police background check and associated confidentiality agreement
