Electrical Systems Our client, a large defense manufacturer in LONDON, ONTARIO is looking for an Electrical Systems technologist to join their team.

Required Qualifications
• University Degree or College Diploma in Electrical field
• 2 years related experience
• Experience with design and integration of electrical systems into harsh environmental conditions (including power generation, distribution and engine interface) • Strong communication, interpersonal, technical and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel
• Ability to travel (10% Canadian and 10% US & International) and possess/able to acquire and maintain a valid passport Job Responsibilities • Create detailed bids in response to customer requirements
• Create new electrical system designs that meet customer requirements; conduct design reviews as required • Ensure compliance with departmental and organizational processes, procedures and requirements
• Complete designs on schedule and within budget
• Undertake technical analyses as required
• Organize and conducts tests as required to prove designs Investigate / resolve production issues as required
• Support customer activities as required (e.g. troubleshooting, testing, installations, demos)
• Manage the development of integrated sub-systems Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with typical defence system requirements (e.g. MIL-STD-1275, 461, 810, etc.)
• Knowledge & understanding of electrical systems in military platforms and electromagnetic compatibility/TEMPEST design practices
