Assistant Sales Manager – London, Ontario
 
The Assistant Sales Manager is a valuable member of our store management team and provides strong leadership and support to our salespeople. Through training and proactive coaching, the Assistant Sales Manager will work with a team of commissioned salespeople to generate results. 
 
 
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
 
  • Leading and motivating a team of commissioned salespeople to ensure all sales targets are consistently achieved and exceeded
  • Ensuring the quality of our in-store customer satisfaction
  • Managing the performance of all sales staff clearly and effectively in accordance with company procedures
  • Strengthening marketing results through active and effective participation in sales and marketing meetings
 
You should have a proven track record highlighting:
 
  • 3-5 years experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity
  • Success in a sales environment, preferably commissioned based
  • Experience in analyzing selling skills, as well as coaching salespeople to succeed
  • A high achievement orientation, as demonstrated by your desire to succeed
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities
  • Availability to work a full retail rotation schedule which includes daytime, evening and weekend shifts as well as peak periods such as March Anniversary and Boxing Week
