CONTENT WRITER – RESPONSIBILITIES

As a writer/web content creator, you will be responsible for researching topics and creating portfolio-related content for social media, blog sites, websites and other digital social channels. Topics include, but are not limited to, Home Décor, Fashion, Trending, Videos and Current News.

• Responsible for researching and writing blogs and article posts for clients.
• Conduct research to find articles, stories, resources and other content that are relevant to our customer base and brand. This also involves posting articles to various social media platforms in a manner that invites conversation and audience interaction.
• Manage and update IES and client-managed social properties on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, tumblr, Instagram, Hootsuite, Vine and Reddit accounts.
• Write for our blog and create customized articles for clients, which involves reporting on current online topics and trends related to home DIY, travel, photography and fashion.
• Create content for client property websites, landing pages and websites that are optimized for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Google Analytics.

REQUIREMENTS

• Available to work directly with the writing team in our South London office.
• Creative self-starter who is comfortable with taking initiative and working in collaboration with others.
• Detail-oriented with a strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Available to start immediately, able to work to deadlines and puts careful thought in to ensure content goes viral.
• Familiarity with mainstream social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google+.
• A background in Digital Media and/or Journalism is an asset, but is not required.
• Available to work 40 hours per week.
