Position Overview
Responsible for estimating efforts for the defence division. This includes providing estimates for on-going programs, development programs, supports managements with new customers, and is active in the use and development of tools to improve estimating performance. Responsible for gathering feedback on estimates submitted, Dax inputting, including routings and BOM activities, timing charts and APQP activities. .

Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Project management using advanced project planning
- Requires extensive knowledge of general machining practices
- Able to specify processes to manufacture components
- Able to estimate machining cycle
- Able to use CAD software
- Able to perform method analysis
- Able to plan, project, and perform project analysis
- Able to use MS office products
- Working close with others to gather costing of external materials/processes
- Frequent processing of multiple tasks and projects with frequent interruptions
- Ensure that all quotations are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that all projects as assigned are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure that parts are delivered to the customer correct in a price effective method
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have CNC Machining experience
- Advanced project planning
- Able to specify processes to manufacture components
- Able to estimate machining cycle
- Able to use CAD software
- Able to perform Method analysis
- Perform project analysis
- Work closely with others to gather costing of eternal materials/processes
- Able to multitask and work with frequent interruptions
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Strong Computer skills
- Work with minimal supervision
- Qualified Manufacturing Engineer
