Role Overview: Supervise the production staff with regards to manpower scheduling, quality concerns, production goals, scrap usage and overall team cohesion. The successful person will be a hands-on leader who can step in an assist in meeting and /or troubleshooting production goals or issues. Drive the continuous improvement philosophy from the “floor to the door”.

Demonstrable Skills required:

-           Must have a machining background & CNC experience

-           Write and maintain CNC programs

-           Support fixture and process design improvements

-           Trouble shoot and rectify CNC issues

-           Provide documentation and analysis of process improvements

-           Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues

Qualifications:

-           Have a sound knowledge and understanding of an ISO/TS manufacturing environment

-           Have a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory role within a manufacturing facility

-           Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with communication and employee interaction and be a proactive “go getter”
