Nicholls & Associates Ltd. is an interior design and planning firm specializing in hospitality, high-end residential and commercial projects.  We are currently looking for a creative and motivated Intermediate Interior Designer/Architectural Technologist for a 16 month contract, with potential for permanent employment.
 
The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of a project – from preparing the presentations through to aiding in the production of working drawings.  Amongst other responsibilities, this person will also be responsible for coordinating project finishes, preparing finishes and furniture fitment drawings, organizing quotes/pricing for procurement of furniture and collaborating with other staff members to bring projects to a successful completion. 
 
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:
 

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design or Architectural Technology, or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a design/architectural firm
• Must be fluent in English, written and verbal
• Be eager and willing to learn, with an innate ability to multi-task and problem solve
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining organization
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 2010, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proficient drafting experience with AutoCAD Architecture (up to 2014)
• Familiarity with SketchUp Pro 2015
