The Nitty Gritty:

We are looking for a Senior Producer to join our growing team of social and mobile gaming experts focusing on the continued growth of YoWorld; the successful applicant will have the option to be based at either of our London, ON or Toronto, ON studios.

The Duties:

  • Responsible for improving and executing project plans, project management and identifying project took kit with the goals of quality, timeliness and efficiency
  • Drive product requirements and feature roadmaps from concept through delivery; write clear and concise specs for new content, features and systems
  • Own and analyze game metrics (acquisition, retention, engagement, monetization, virality) and proactively identify and implement optimizations to player experience and core financial performance
  • Foster a culture that balances all aspects of successful live services. From the science of strong analytics to the art of creative game design to communication and management of the player base
  • Lead and influence multi-disciplined teams which deliver our games, with a special focus on ensuring we are designing games that keep our players engaged in an increasingly competitive marketplace
  • Work closely with the content creation team and multidisciplinary teams to understand and deliver against requirements and specifications
  • Responsible for the complete development cycle associated with new game features, including writing specifications, monitoring development and evaluation releases and customer responses
  • Demonstrate sound product judgment and the ability to formulate product strategy with clear objectives
  • Work in partnership with the Product Manager and discipline leads to manage the production schedule of the development team
  • Prepare and execute realistic project schedules for the development team, including milestones and deliverables
  • Serve as an internal game critic, and provide feedback to key stakeholders as occasions arise
  • Provide mentorship and career management to project members, and steer them towards achieving full potential

The Essentials:

  • 5+ years as a Producer within the gaming industry, with at least 3 years of social production experience
  • Previous experience working on live games required
  • Demonstrated exceptional organization, communication and management skills
  • Experience with Agile / SCRUM development
  • Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles
  • Experience managing multi-discipline teams
  • Posses a highly analytical thought process
