Industrial Electrician (442A)
On behalf of my client in London we are recruiting for dual trade Electricians and / or Millwrights to Permanent positions. The successful candidate would possess an Electrician or Millwright license and registered apprenticeship or ability to challenge with hours for dual trade.

Hourly Rate: $34.77 to start / up to $35.88 at 6 Months + OT Paid at 40 Hours
Rotate in teams of 4 plus a team lead so everyone must do the rotation. This results in 7 day period and a 5 day period off every 5 weeks! If you are interested to know more contact us for more information.

Shift Schedule: MAD Rotation; night shift on 3rd week of the rotation runs into weekends 12-hour Nights (paid 40 hours). Then off 5 days back on weekends 12 hour nights (paid 40 hours). The following month would be 12-Hour Afternoons. Then OFF 7 Days before rotation starts again.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ability to work independently and under the direction of a supervisor
• Experience with PLC programming and robotic trouble shooting.
• Ability to work in a schedule-driven environment to meet deadlines, and manage workload; and
• Can work effectively as part of a team, with apprentices, and independently.
• The preparation and/or modification of the following:
• New electrical construction, mainly commercial and industrial
• Industrial electrical preventive & corrective maintenance
• Panel changes and service upgrades
• Lighting retrofits

Must Have Requirements / Assets

• High School diploma required
• Either a valid Electrical License with Millwright experience or Millwright apprenticeship
  OR Millwright License with Electrical experience or Electrical apprenticeship
• Clear criminal background check is required, this will be run by the agency
  Must possess a minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance/construction
• Have solid knowledge and understanding of Ontario Electrical Code
• Hold a valid Canadian driver’s license with a good driving record
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Analytical thinking, innovative problem solving, and independent decision-making skills
• Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot motors & controls without supervision
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
• Own tools are required (equal replacements will be provided if they break)
