Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Information Technology, the Information Services Coordinator is responsible for full cycle equipment management and technical services delivery for Mission Services of London staff and vendors This position operates within the Information Technology team and requires on-site presence at all MSL work locations; the ability to travel between locations is essential for meeting the objectives of this role. The coordinator is accountable for the day-to-day IT and related administrative operational issues, including, but not limited to: equipment deployments, software support, database management, telephone services, inventory tracking, and system access.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains positive and effective relationships with staff and information technology vendors (MSP, Phones, Alarms, etc.)
  • Acts as the liaison with external vendors and/or outsourced managed services.
  • Supports the Director of Finance and IT in the development of IT policies and procedures.
  • Operationalizes annual IS goals in alignment with financial and operational objectives.
  • Carries out ad-hoc, daily, weekly, and annual tasks as assigned.
  • Acts as the first line response to general IT enquiries from users and generates external service tickets with appropriate vendors on behalf of users (computers, mobiles, phones, etc...)
  • Delivers on IS and IT processes to ensure trouble-free operations for staff.
  • Monitors and promptly handles assigned issues and tasks through IS such as Teams and Outlook.
  • Provides IS & IT training on proper information storage, procedures and general user security.
  • Implements the user security awareness training programs.
  • Proactively disseminates relevant companywide IT communication and information to users.
  • Schedules and coordinates with vendors regular preventative maintenance for all infrastructure IT systems.
  • Manages the purchase of IT office supplies guided by the annual budget and user needs.
  • Manage systems access to programs in alignment with access policies, including the accountability of planning for and securing software licenses.
  • Inventory management for all IT hardware and software, including location management.
  • Deploys mobile equipment and ensure MDM compliance.
  • Provide general database administrative support as required by Supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Business or Information Systems or related field or equivalent and relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office Products, including Office365.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time-management skills and ability to establish reasonable deadlines for resolution.
  • Prior Help Desk or similar experience an asset.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • French Language Skills an asset.
