POSITION:
CANADA SUMMER JOBS STUDENT
HUMAN RESOURCES SUPPORT ASSISTANT
This is a funded position through Service Canada
This term is from July 04, 2016 to August 26, 2016 (8 weeks)
Thirty-seven and one-half (37.5) hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS: the successful applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: the successful applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- In the process of completing Post-Secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources
- Will be between 15 and 30 years of age inclusive at the start of employment
- Has been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intends to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
SKILLS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate possesses, or is in the process of developing, the following skills and traits: - High energy, analytical and pro-active
- Excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Well developed time management skills
- Excellent computer skills
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - To support the Human Resources team as required
