Agilus is recruiting for a Mechanical Technologist/Designer in the Engineering consulting industry in London, Ontario.
We are seeking an Mechanical Draftsperson for our client's office which is located in London, ON. The successful candidate will assist the Mechanical Engineering Department/Plumbing Division in drafting of buildings in the residential, commercial, institutional and industrial sectors.
The candidate will be required to work with the mechanical design and engineering team in producing drawings for permit and construction. The candidate will be expected to work both independently and within the project group to facilitate the design requirements to reach project completion.

A typical day:
- Drafting of mechanical systems and components
- Coordinate with the engineering team and other design disciplines as required
- Assist with engineering analysis, evaluations, designs, and implementation for mechanical systems
- Ability to provide technical guidance to other designers, technologists and junior staff
- Occasional site visits as required
- Other tasks as assigned by Mechanical Leads or Mechanical Division Manager
The successful candidate brings:
- 3-5 years of relatable experience (Specifically plumbing and HVAC design and/or installation)
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; REVIT considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent drafting skills
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a team environment
