Job Description
Jeffrey Reed - one of Canada's leading freelance journalists - is hiring a part-time publicist & promotions assistant.
A disabled athlete who has achieved greatness on and off the playing field, much in-demand public speaker, golf ambassador for Wilson Staff, writer, author, broadcaster and photographer, Jeffrey Reed is now hiring a part-time contract (freelance) assistant to heavily promote his availability as an inspirational speaker, as well as attend speical events to help promote his trio of businesses.

Jeffrey is booking additional speaking engagements to include:
* Business Lunch 'N Learns
* Seminars
* Conventions
* After-Dinner Speaches
* Charity Golf Tournaments
* Church Groups
* Schools
Jeffrey's speaking topics include:
* 37 years of sports journalism - short stories about famous athletes
* His story, Diamond Dream - pitching with the London Majors as a disabled athlete
* Achieving goals as a golf professional with Wilson Staff
* Setting goals
* The power of hope
* Importance of Mentorship
Each of Jeffrey's speaking engagements is custom built to an individual audience.
As Jeffrey's publicist, you will receive remuneration, plus a commission for each paid speaking engagement. Leads will be provided, but we are looking for a high-energy, professional communicator who is as passionate about our message as we are! You must be a self-starter.
As well, you will have the opportunity to attend special events i.e. charity events/fundraisers, networking events as Jeffrey's assistant in order to promote his trio of businesses. In specific, you'll attend the annual LondonOntarioSports.com banquet in June when you will greet and network with special guests.
In addition, there is an opportunity to sell advertising on a commission basis for our two leading-Canadian sports websites listed below.
This job can be performed in your own time, and will be a permanent freelance opportunity for the right candidate. Special events will be available throughout the year.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to further connect with local business and sports industries.
Remuneration will be discussed at time of pre-interview.
