Job Details
 
The IT Project Coordinator is a pivotal team member responsible for contributing to the ongoing success of CarProof’s IT and development initiatives. This individual will work with all project functions to assign and monitor individual responsibilities. In particular, this individual will collaborate closely with the Development team, and will take project designs and business cases to create scope documents and project implementation.
 
This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with other departmental teams to bring IT-based projects to fruition in a collaborative fashion.
 
This position is based in our London, ON head office. The IT Project Coordinator reports into the Chief Technology Officer, and they will work closely together to develop a course of action for IT project management going forward.
 
This is a full-time position, and compensation includes base salary commensurate with experience and health/dental benefits.
 
Position Responsibilities
 
  • Perform Agile Project Management to assist with maintenance, review, and follow through of the Project Management Plan for all IT-related components of projects
  • Coordinate resource requirements for project team
  • Hold regular status meetings with project team
  • Monitoring work to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications
  • Working closely with project team to resolve project technical problems / constructability issues
  • Maintaining communication channels with stakeholders and internal CarProof personnel to ensure that work flows smoothly
  • Lead project scoping; manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Monitor scope creep and re-scope projects if necessary; convey project changes and updates to appropriate team members
  • Manage project risk
  • Manage project schedule & budget
  • Identify resource and organizational capacity; work with all company functions to assign individual responsibilities
  • Contribute to project prioritization
  • Resolve and/or escalate project issues in a timely manner
Education, Experience and Key Competencies Required
 
  • 2-5 years of previous project coordination experience in an IT capacity
  • Post-secondary education is mandatory
  • Strong communication skills and even stronger interpersonal skills are a must
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Adaptability within the project management process
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Superior organizational and planning skills
  • Very adept at problem analysis and the problem solving
