Our client in London, Ontario is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Claims Specialist to join their growing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience with policy and coverage consulting for Property, Liability, Casualty, Reinsurance, Workers Compensation, Fidelity, Professional Liability and D&O coverage
- Thorough and methodical investigation and assessment of claims utilizing strong judgement and critical thinking skills
- Negotiation of claims management and loss funding agreements
- Claims management for claims over $100,000
- Responsible for commercial claims adjustments and negotiation activities, litigation management, data and information tracking
- Claims adjustments/settlement for claims under $100,000
- Preparation of statistical information
- Claim audits and review of outside service providers
- Provide guidance and assistance on programs or projects to other team members as needed
- 5 - 7 years Commercial Claims Examiner experience in complex and/or large losses
- CIP and CRM designation considered an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance demanding, ever-changing situations and deadlines
- Strong sense of urgency and client responsiveness
- Demonstrated self-management skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to establish and maintain an excellent rapport and cooperative working relationship with service providers and Group company senior managers/executives
- Advanced computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
