Senior Civil Engineer

On behalf of our consulting client in the London area, we are recruiting for a qualified Professional Engineer for to take a Senior Civil Engineer position within a growing team. The successful candidate would be interested in upward mobility and constant growth as there is potential for steep growth and the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

Managing projects, report writing, specification writing, contract administration, providing technical design, oversite, and review to the other engineering and design staff including but not limited to:

• Review of site grading, site servicing, and storm water management designs and drawings
• Preparing design briefs, storm water management reports, calculations and modelling
• Project management and liaison with project stakeholders to deliver efficient and cost-effective projects outcomes
• Oversee the technical work of more junior staff
• The proactive advancement of design and modelling techniques
• Provide input and direction for grading, servicing, storm water management, and land development engineering solutions
• Occasional site work as required
• Coordination of design and drawings with other team members and consultants

Civil Engineer Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario
• University Degree in Civil Engineering or related education
• 5 to 10 Years of Experience handing project in subdivision, site plan land development, transportation and municipal infrastructure
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent knowledge of grading, servicing, and storm water management design and modelling,

• Effective writing and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a fast-paced team environment with changing priorities and critical project deadlines
• Knowledge and proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D is an asset
