Our client, one of the leading post-secondary educational facilities in North America, has an immediate one (1) month (possible extension) contract opening for an Administrative Assistant. 
 
The Administrative Assistant provides customer service, administrative, record management and billing support within the H.A. Leeper Speech and Hearing Clinic.  The Administrative Assistant serves as a liaison between clients and clinical faculty, clinical audiologists, and students to ensure timely delivery of care services. The incumbent also works closely with manufacturer partners, physicians and other professionals to maintain product price lists, mailings, reports and referrals. In addition, the Administrative Assistant works closely with clients with special hearing and assistive listening devices needs and ensures proper use and care of equipment. 
 

Qualifications:
  • 3 years' experience in a health care/clinic setting; preferably an audiology clinic
  • Experience with customer needs and expectations to provide excellent customer service directly and indirectly to satisfy expectations
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and adapting to growth and change
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage activities both for self and others effectively
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, peers, other departments, key business partners and external agencies
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a team member
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations
  • Must have a CLEAR criminal check
