Our client, a standard-setter in the field of transportation and logistics is currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our London Maintenance Department.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage the day to day operations of London maintenance facility. The Maintenance Manager ensures that the facility operates in a safe and efficient manner providing the best cost reduction solutions without detriment to our fleet. The Maintenance Manager also assists our team with efficient breakdown solutions and elevated issues as required.

• On floor presence, repair verification, quality control, employee relations (one on one contact).
• Special projects, process changes, building programs, planning and resource support
• Recruiting, reviewing resumes and interviewing
• Communication and meetings
• Team Leader development
• Work order verification and analysis
• Working with Equipment Control
• Health and Safety
• Used equipment sales and lease returns
• Special projects
• Industry meetings and associations

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Community College would be an asset
• Minimum 5 year of prior experience
• 310T License would be an asset
• Experience with Microsoft office products
• Must be able to work independently 
• Effective communications skills (listening, oral and written)
• Effective organization, planning and problem solving skills
• Professional attitude and presentation

 
HOURS:
Monday to Friday - approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., must be flexible.
