Electrician - Night Shift

On behalf of our client, a global automotive supplier of sealing systems, brake delivery systems, fluid transfer and anti-vibration systems; employing over 30,000 people worldwide and growing, we are recruiting for an Electrician to join the team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate would be available to work within a commutable distance of London and loves Midnight Shifts; must have manufacturing or automotive background.

Wage: $28.05 Hourly base + Shift Premium

Electrician Duties and Responsibilities:

•Performing new electrical installations and checking schematics
•Installing, dismantling, moving, and aligning machinery and plant equipment
•Repairing and upgrading existing electrical installations and updating schematic to code
•Programming all new PLC installations
•Repairing and troubleshooting existing PLC installations
•Providing input in the planning of new technology in the plant
•Providing input for the selection and ordering of electrical components

Electrician Qualifications:

•Licensed Electrician 309 or 442
•Fall arrest and aerial lift training certificate is an asset
•Ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritize & organize work load
•Ability to interface with electronic devices (HMI) an asset
•Robotic experience is an asset
