Sales Manager, DMR (Direct Market Reseller)
 
In support of our continued growth, StarTech.com is currently looking for a Sales Manager, DMR to join our North American sales team at our corporate office in London, Ontario.
 
Reporting to the Director of North American Sales, DMR, the Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Account Managers and meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals through the ownership of that team.  This role is ultimately accountable for individual and team productivity and serves as a leader within the Sales organization.  This role will develop and facilitate cross-functional business relationships with DMR customers and enhance customer loyalty by providing a superior customer experience.  The Sales Manager will coach and develop a team of Account Managers, focused on the North American market.

If You Enjoy 
  • Driving the implementation and execution of company strategy through strategic account management at the Account Manager level
  • Leading an Account Manager team in the development and implementation of account profiles and operating plans that build/strengthen customer relationships, increasing brand awareness and promoting profitable growth within assigned accounts/segments
  • Working cross-functionally across the organization to identify key opportunities consistent with a defined strategy across all accounts, building and executing a plan for achievement
  • Coaching an Account Manager team to manage their individual business portfolios effectively and profitably and advising team on strategies to improve sales performance and achievement of goals 
And Have Evidence of 
  • 3-5 years successfully managing account relationships at all levels of target accounts IT Channel; knowledge of applicable sales programs, business sales process procedures and related tools
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading and managing a team of direct reports
  • Previous Product Management and Operational experience (an asset)
  • Proven ability in the creation, implementation and execution of account plans and channel programs to drive profitable growth
  • Track record of building highly collaborative cross-functional relationships, emphasizing a focus on team achievement
