Job Description

On behalf of our client in London, we are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant on a full time basis.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Answer and direct general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greet clients/suppliers/visitors to the organization
  • Receive, distribute and send mail and fax correspondence
  • Ensure that all employee forms are kept stocked in the front office
  • Prepare and code select invoices including matching with receiving slips
  • Manage office supplies maintaining adequate quantities
  • Prepare quoting on a daily basis and file
  • Create new shop order entries and assign shop order numbers
  • File shop order numbers for freight bills
  • Accounting back up duties
  • Assist with administrative overflow and special projects from other departments as required

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a College Diploma, preferably in Office Administration
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with the MS Office suite
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and field queries and calls as needed
  • Professional attitude with the ability to communicate effectively

Compensation: $14.50 per hour + 4% Vacation Pay

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

*Candidates must have access to a vehicle as this position is not on a bus route*
