Report Writer Information Systems
 
Job Purpose
  1. Creates and maintains internal/external user reports per documented specifications.
  2. Achieves service level commitments for CommITTS tickets, as measured by the monthly service level repor
Specific Responsibilities
  • Liaising with the user to identify and confirm report specifications.
  • Answering users’ questions about report generation functionality or data
  • Generating SQL scripts as requested
  • Generating reports using Crystal, SQL scripting and LVM.
  • Acting as a technical resource for the group on Crystal reports, Oasis, SQL scripting and LVM.
  • Ensuring coding standards are maintained.
  • Advising user when test report is available for review.
  • Performing ad hoc reporting to answer inquiries. 
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
  • University Degree in Computer Science or College Diploma in Computer Science with 1 year relevant work experience
  • Microsoft SQL Certification
  • Microsoft SQL Experience
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in Crystal report writing
