This position is based in London, Ontario

Description of Responsibilities

I. Process Analysis

• To analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements.
• To define and record development specifications.
• To conduct structured systems testing to ensure that they function properly.

II. Problem Solving

• To review and handle issues and questions regarding the application systems.
• To resolve issues that may hinder production, adversely affect users and/or customers, and/or impact profit margins.

III. Systems Development

• To work with the client to understand business requirements and design appropriate IT solutions.
• To produce system design documentation specifying the data, files and operations that the system will perform, as well as the way in which the data will be viewed.
• To work either by self or with other developers to construct, test and deliver new or enhanced business systems

IV. General

• To support other work-stack activities.
• To provide support to the team members and managers.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business/Information Systems Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar environment;
• Or College degree in Business/Information Systems Management with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar environment.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
• 3-5 years experience in an IT System Development role would be beneficial.
