Scheduling Coordinator – London (Contract)
 
Position Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for planning and scheduling production to meet customer needs while ensuring optimal utilization of Company resources.  This is a fixed term contract position to cover a materity/parental leave.
 
Key Accountabilities

• completes daily and month-end consumption reports for all production
• orders fowl and frozen trim for production, making changes to orders as needed and updating receiving schedules
• completes meat receiving and enters schedules into MRP system
• completes various administrative functions to support scheduling, planning and receiving functions
• sets-up production schedules as required for Plant B

 
Requirements

• Post secondary diploma in Materials Management, Production Planning or related field is preferred
• 5 years progressive related experience in manufacturing
• Solid computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and MRP type applications with keyboarding speed of 60 words per minute
• Strong mathematical ability with strong attention to detail
