Located out of our Sifton Head Office, this position will provide end user and information systems operations support, with a positive customer service approach.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform incident intake, including email, phone, face to face and ticket portal, management vetting and gathering all required information, escalating to upper-level technical support as required.
• Perform PC and laptop troubleshooting and repair, and provide additional support functions to meet end user requirements as required.
• Assist in providing training and orientation to office network systems and IT protocols to assigned end users, upon hire and thereafter as required. Provide deployment and user support of mobile devices.
• Follow established software installation protocols, including restoration and refurbishing of existing computers (laptop and desktop), network setup and related configurations, email and any other necessary software. Removal of old equipment and data migration to new machines. Assist maintaining inventory control of software and hardware.
• Ensure security of all information systems and resources, including all software, licences and computer supplies.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Certificate in Computer Technology from college or recognized educational institution.
• 1-2 years’ experience providing technical support services, including PC hardware, PC repair, software installation, troubleshooting and user support.
• Strong customer service orientation, with demonstrated understanding, delivery and follow-up of quality technical support services to internal customers.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
• Self-motivated and have the demonstrated ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with others to establish what the problem is, determine the solution and explain clearly to end users.
• Hours and days of work may vary depending on business requirements. Flexibility in availability is required. Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
