PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
The Program Assistant provides support to Program Managers responsible for coordination of non-academic aspects for Ivey’s non-degree Open-Enrolment and Custom-Specific programs. The Program Assistant contributes to the success of the Ivey Executive Education team by providing excellent customer service at every level of the program preparation and delivery.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Assist with coordination of all non-academic aspects of programs in accordance with projected budgets and existing processes.
- Assist with coordination of the provision of teaching materials through liaison with the Ivey Publishing and Western Graphic Services departments.
- Assist in coordination of arrangements related to facilities in London, Toronto and other Canadian locations.
- Assist in preparation and distribution of pre-program reading materials and handouts during the program delivery.
- Assist in organization of program social events.
- Prepare program materials and gifts as directed.
- Assist with program errands as required.
- Complete program evaluation results and summarize feedback solicited from participants regarding the quality of their program experience.
- Provide general administrative support to the Executive Education department.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Undergraduate university degree or 2 year diploma from a recognized community college
- Three years of related experience working in a fast-paced, service and team-oriented environment
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to follow directions, work under time pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with detail with high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency in all Windows applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and possessing the aptitude and desire to learn
- Availability to work outside of regular business hours including evenings and weekends
Location: London, Ontario
This is a 2 year renewable contract position with full benefits.
