ADECCO is recruiting for a full time Maintenance Technician for our client in Thorndale, ON. The pay rate for this role is between $16-18/hr depending on experience.
Job Description for the Maintenance Technician :
· Identifies, researches and resolves problems
· Performs regular preventative maintenance on all machinery, tools and buildings
· Repairs machinery, equipment, buildings and other company assets in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, manufacturing specifications, or by management request
· Maintains records of repair/maintenance activities, per company policy
· Prepares other reports as required
· Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures
· Work in plant as required
· Performs other duties as required
Requirements for the Maintenance Technician :
- Previous work experience in machine repair and maintenance
· Demonstrates ability to read blue prints, technical diagrams and operating manuals, to use precision measuring instruments and tools, and to use hand tools
· Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding
· Demonstrate ability to write legibly, maintain records, give and follow instructions both written and oral
· Ability to work hours mandated by management (hours will differ from regular plant hours and include weekends)
