Job Description

Talentcor London is currently recruiting for a Systems Administrator.  This is a permanent position located in London, On.
 
As a junior IT specialist you will utilize a broad range of expertise and skills. You are responsible for the first level local and remote support of all North American locations.
 
. You will be accountable for the daily support ticket handling and assignment, as well as routine tasks and user assistance.
. Through projects and processes, you will aid in the design, support, maintenance and enhancement of existing and future client and server hardware, software, security and
networking/communication technology.
. Liaising between the local users, head-office support teams and management, you will act as backup for the local active directory maintenance, group policy, MS Exchange and communication services, DNS, DHCP, print services, VPN, AV, client software and OS deployment, asset tracking and server/workstation lifecycle.
. You will support the users and systems as the first point of contact for local issues, as well as supporting and implementing highly complex systems and projects.
. You report directly to the North American IT Manager.  
 
Your Strengths and Experience Include:
 
. You have work/co-op experience in a help-desk or supporting role, and are looking to learn and grow as you apply your solid foundation of knowledge.
. You are proactive and customer-oriented, and enjoy working independently in a demanding and rewarding environment on daily monitoring and support.
. You have experience with and broad knowledge of a variety of technologies including but not limited to: Client software (Windows 7/8/10, MS Office 2013/2016, Outlook, Citrix), Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking, Exchange, Security, Software deployment, SharePoint, IP Telephony, Blackberry, Printing.
. You have exceptional troubleshooting capabilities and are comfortable assisting users, providing training and creating documentation.
. Your patience, team spirit, and unique ability to adapt, learn, troubleshoot, teach and communicate effectively are paramount to this engaging position!
. Some travel required (USA and Canada)
