Autodata Solutions is looking for a part-time Post Production Technician for their London, Ontario office.

Position Overview:

The Post Production Technician is required to correct color balance, set shadows, and clean up images at the professional photographic level within the digital /web environment. You should possess digital illustration skills, creative problem solving skills, and an acute eye for color, tonal levels, and graphic composition. This is an entry-level part-time position open to students, however this is not a summer role.  We are looking for someone who will continue with us part-time throughout the school year.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Format images to remove distracting elements and provide cosmetic enhancements using Photoshop software
• Adjust, format, organize and archive all photography files for all auto manufactures (year, make, model) to distributed to designers, printers and customers
• Collaborate with photographers, designers and Team Leads to facilitate daily workflow in post production department
• Maintain colour management and imaging standards to ensure high quality production of image in web or in print
• Ensure media image data is kept accurate and up to date at all times (on avg. there are 300 - 400 new models per year that are redesigned)
• Research and source information for interior colours of specific vehicles

Qualifications:

• Post secondary education in Media Design, Arts or Graphic Design an asset
• 1 - 2 years experience with image manipulation, colour management and colour theory in a post production environment
• Excellent proficiency in Adobe Photoshop CS6 or later, Adobe Illustrator and other colour correction software 
• Comfortable with blending techniques such as the patch and clone tools, as well as proficiency using the pen tool
• Posses a keen eye for colour composition (must be able to detect subtle colour differences)
• Ability to set and manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Flexibility to work an average of 20 hrs/wk, with the possibility of more during periods of high demand
