Job Description
On behalf of our client in London, ON, we are currently recruiting for a Freight Payables Clerk on a full time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Duties (include but not limited to):
Monday to Friday; daytime hours
Compensation: $39,000-45,000 annually

Duties (include but not limited to):
- Receive, distribute and enter freight invoices into computer database system
- Upload invoices into company specific software application
- Load and maintain simple rate quotes from Carriers
- Reconcile reports and Carrier accounts
- Provide customer service and invoice resolution to Carriers
- Special projects and other duties as assigned
- Minimum of a College Diploma in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, CITT and/or CCLP designation
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounts payable role; preference will be given to those with previous freight auditing or freight payables experience
- Advanced computer skills including excellent ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong sense of customer satisfaction and communication
- Able to prioritize workload with minimal supervision
