Job Description

On behalf of our client in St. Thomas, ON, we are currently recruiting for a full time Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher on an evaluation hire basis.
 
Duties (include but not limited to):
  • Handle calls and questions from clients and/or drivers    
  • Providing quotes to potential customers based on specifications given
  • Making reservations at customer’s request
  • Scheduling drivers and dispatching busses
  • Invoicing customers
  • Handling any and all customer service related issues
  • Problem solving and efficiently handling time sensitive issues
  • Inputting and updating client information
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Completion of a high school diploma and/or the equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administration, dispatch or customer service
  • Experience in the transportation industry considered a strong asset
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional problem solving and multi-tasking skills required
  • Advanced communication skills both written and verbal
  • Superior organization and time management skills
Hours:
  • Monday-Friday; 8:30Am – 5:00PM
Compensation:
  • $18.00/Hour + 4% Vacation Pay
