Job Description

DESCRIPTION: This position will assist the Vice Principal of Finance and Manager of General Accounting with all processes related to reporting, analysis and general accounting functions within the Finance department.  This position will provide support and backup for Accounts Payable, Student Financial Services, Payroll and Central Services.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  The successful candidate must be able to work in a shared office environment, and have a Post-Secondary education in Accounting; a designation in Accounting is preferred. Excellent computer skills (Excel & Access), prior experience with accounting software, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, well developed organizational and analytical skills, plus two years of related accounting experience (A/P, A/R or Payroll) are required.  

TYPE OF JOB:                      Regular Full-time, 35 hours per week
 
JOB GRADE:                        SSG-11
 
SALARY RANGE:                 $47,568. - $57,956., dependent on experience
 
EFFECTIVE DATE:               January 2015
