Job Description
Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers is focused exclusively on personal injury litigation. We have built a reputation for excellence in all areas of litigation and we have a strong commitment to helping the injured and abused.
We have an opening for a junior law clerk with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal injury work. Tasks will involve requesting and briefing documents from third parties, namely health care providers, educational facilities, employers and government agencies. Client contact through correspondence, email and telephone will also be expected. File creation and organization as well as scanning and indexing in Primafact will be a daily task. It is preferred if applicants hold a College diploma from a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program but other post-secondary education will be considered.
Successful applicants will be able to multi-task and set priorities in a fast paced environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail are required for this position. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primafact is essential and a working knowledge of PCLaw would be an asset.
