Parts Manager

Phaeton Automotive Group has an immediate opening in one of our busy and successful dealership for an experienced Parts Manager. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative leader for the team with a focus on inventory control
  • Monitors parts inventory, recall activity, seasonal trends, future promotions, new models and in transit stock orders
  • Coverage for retail and wholesale counter
  • Manage monthly reconciliations
  • Responsible for care and security parts fixed assets
  • Analyzes the quality of parts held in stock
  • Works with Retail and Wholesale customers
  • Responsible for parts departmental profit and meeting or exceeding Budget
  • Budget preparation and cost control
  • Must be an astute buyer to incur savings by timing inventory buys with promotions and high seasonal demands
  • Is responsible for training and leadership of parts team and for regular review of team performance to meet objectives and comply with policy

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years automotive dealership Parts Management experience
  • Fixed knowledge in overall operations, management and retail is an asset
  • Reynolds knowledge preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer use
  • Proven track record of achieving targets
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Great attitude and high energy
