Our rapidly expanding Canadian operation located in London, Ontario is in need of Optical Lab Technicians for the Edging Department and the Surfacing Department.

Start Date: On or before April 1, 2015

Duties for edging department position include, but are not limited to:

• Data entry
• Tracing frames
• Blocking
• Shipping and receiving of daily orders
• Sorting orders
• Follow ups on daily orders
• Ordering Supplies
• Edging of lenses
• General house keeping

 
Duties for surfacing department position include, but are not limited to:

• Shipping & receiving - sorting of lenses and frames
• Lasering lenses
• Using manual lensometer
• Taping and blocking lenses
• Some light lifting required
• General housekeeping

 
Job Requirements:

• Edging and lab work is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Reliable and punctual
• Strong computer skills
• Well-organized, highly responsible, and good interpersonal skills (pleasant mannerism and ability to get along with co-workers)
• Flexible hours preferred
• Customer Service experience
• Trouble Shooting
• Attention to detail
