Marketing and Product Administrator – Product Life Cycle
On behalf of our client, in St. Thomas, ON, is currently seeking a Marketing and Product Administrator to assist with the Product Lifecycle. The Product Specialist assists with new product launch preparation and maintaining product until the end of lifecycle. Product mix is a blend of Wholesale and Retail products requiring continual maintenance, innovation and market analysis.

The Product Specialist assists with new product launch preparation and maintaining product until the end of lifecycle. Product mix is a blend of Wholesale and Retail products requiring continual maintenance, innovation and market analysis.
Product Specialist will either own or assist with the following major PM responsibilities:
- Product launch strategy and implementation
- Product structure creation and coordination with internal departments
- Update and maintain specification and M&I sheets
- Product obsolescence
- Pricing analysis
- Collateral proofreading
- Member of price book team
- Interaction with domestic and international manufacturing facilities
- Product quality liaison between Product Management and Quality Assurance
- Continual analysis and maintenance of existing mix
- Report generation and metrics
- Provide internal training support – technical aspects only
- Minimum of a 2 year completed Marketing Diploma or Degree or equivalent experience and education
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ project management experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in consumer goods or wholesale
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Access)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Above average organizational skills
- Track record of delivering projects on-time
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Above average financial analysis ability
- Occasional travel required
- Must have reliable transportation for this position
