Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing strategy and portfolio management of products sold into the retail hardware and mass markets. This role will work closely with the sales and category development team, as well as counterparts in the US to build and execute the portfolio strategy in this segment. The candidate will be responsible for the management of key divisional P & L’s, identifying areas where we can generate profitable growth.
·Execution of the sales & Marketing plans, driving product growth through channel and end users
·Collaborate with US and International teams supporting Global strategies and unique Canadian requirements
·Drive operational excellence within the portfolio focused on growth and profitability
·Post-secondary education from an accredited institution
·Experience building and executing marketing campaigns, as well as P&L management
·Competitive and driven, with desire for personal growth and development
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel
·University degree in Marketing
·5 years of experience in a related function
·The ability to collaborate and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization in Canada, and within the U.S. and Global teams
·Industry experience and association memberships
Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 30% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver’s license is required.
