We’re hiring an Administrative Assistant (Healthcare) for an exciting contract role in London, ON. Our client, a reputable educational institution, is in need of an experienced associate to maintain the daily operations and smooth traffic flow within the department office.  The incumbent provides customer service, administrative, record management and billing support within the clinic.  This role offers an excellent, team-based work culture and access to professional development. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Liaise between clients and clinical faculty, clinical audiologists, and student to ensure timely delivery of care services
  • Work closely with manufacturer partners, physicians and other professionals to maintain product price lists, mailings, reports and referrals.
  • Support to the Faculty: Provides administrative support to the faculty including: ordering textbooks, photocopying, printing, mailing and general correspondence.
  • Work closely with clients with special hearing and assistive listening devices needs and ensures proper use and care of equipment
  • Other duties as required: Includes but not limited to: special projects, reception backup and mail.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience in a health care/clinic setting
  • Experience with customer needs and expectations to provide excellent customer service directly and indirectly to satisfy expectations
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage activities
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Professional presence
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
  • Creative problem-solving skills and sound professional judgment
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as a team member 
  • Advanced computer skills including spreadsheet design and work processing

  • Criminal background check is required
