Arva Industries located in St. Thomas, Ontario is offering an excellent opportunity for an Electrician.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading the installation of electrical components on our mobile equipment, primarily cranes, service vehicles and rail cars.

To be qualified, the ideal candidate will be capable of taking on:
 
Responsibilities:

• Assemble electrical components in large rail and heavy mobile mining equipment from drawings and electrical schematics

• Assemble wiring harnesses from electrical schematics

• Complete final electrical systems testing and certifications

• Complete trouble shooting tasks for electrical problems

• Provide electrical issues feedback to engineering for corrections to designs

• Maintain line cards for electrical components and maintain records for testing

• May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Qualifications

• Minimum college diploma in electrical field
• Familiarity with Danfoss Plus One programming is an asset
• Minimum five year previous experience in a related electrical assembly
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and schematics
• A driver's licence is required.

In this full time role, your remuneration will be based on your abilities as an electrical leader and your experience with similar machinery.
