Agilus' client in theInsurance Industry is adding a Junior/Associate Software Developer

In this role you willbe working with a team providing the following keydeliverables:

• Product solution and delivery
• Delivering code based on specifications
• Delivering fixes and improvements to existing software products
• Delivering clean and efficient code
• Testing software products and fixes defects
• Gaining exposure to and learns new languages, frameworks and tools
• Taking accountability for own deliverables, keeping in mind team goals and objectives
• Making a positive impact on the well-being of our clients' customers

Skills required:

• University or College education in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Cobol, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, Spring)
• Familiarity with developer tools (e.g. Eclipse or IntelliJ for developing on the Java stack, Splunk for log analysis)
• Experience as a developer in a team environment (e.g. Agile, cross-functional, or distributed team structures)
• Experience with database systems (e.g. DB2, MongoDB) and data access methods (e.g. object-relational mapping, SQL, ETL, API, caching)
• Experience with source code management and build automation systems (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins)
