Role overview: Reporting to the Clinical Specialist Leader, in a medical solutions product group, the successful incumbent will focus on device reprocessing and central sterilization solutions. You will make an impact by providing specialized education and support to customers, distributors, and sales employees.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop high impact programs to communicate clinical and technical knowledge to medical and dental professionals
- Convert technical product features to meaningful user defined benefits, occasionally travelling with sales reps, providing clinical and technical information that supports and enhances the sales presentation
- Train internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, new employees, business leaders) and external stakeholders (distributors, customers, professional associations, regulatory agencies, universities) on new and existing products and clinical and technical standards
- Localize product documentation and communications (training, regulatory, sales, marketing, local study groups, etc.) for new and existing products. Interpret applicability of local standards and develop appropriate content
- May serve on industry and professional associations or advisory boards. Generates deep insights and provides Voice of Customer (VOC) back into the business unit.
- Create presentations for webinars, workshops, and conferences/tradeshows
- Co-leads, with sales rep, clinical/sales joint calls to discuss on-label scientific evidence & procedures for company products
- Supports sales conversion and in-service for company products
- Execute local and regional programs to support sales and marketing campaigns
- Leads the product acceptance/performance in clinical use
- Clinical support to sales for defending or gaining new business at account level
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor€™s Degree in Science, Engineering, or Medical field
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide solutions
- Excellent collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage and motivate teams
- Strong business ethics and integrity
- Excellent proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint; experience with CRM, ERP systems as asset
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in similar role within medical industry, or in a Sterilization-related role
- Strong technical knowledge, able to communicate complexity in a clear and concise manner
- Clinical background a benefit, but not required
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills with the ability to write, edit and publish in journalistic, research oriented and marketing styles
- French language is a benefit
Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel across Canada approximately 30% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver€™s license is required.
