Account Management/Collector

We are recruiting for a team member to join our Customer Service & Delinquency Management Team in our downtown London, ON office.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Building client relationships by making outbound calls to ask delinquent debtors to update their accounts and setup payment of overdue accounts
- Make outbound calls to using consultative sales approach to solicit new credit solutions to current and/or previous clients based on client needs and preview of portfolio
- Outbound solicitation for new business, conversational sales approach to uncover the customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Actively seek opportunity to sell or cross-sell Affirm products to customers
- Accept Inbound calls from debtors who would like to either update their accounts or negotiate arrangements to handle their debts (lower monthly payments or workout program)
- Follow up with promises to pay to make sure payments are made on time as promised by debtors
- Resolve complex financial inquiries
- Consult with and/or co-ordinate activities with other employees of the organization such as activities related to Client Services, Legal, Lending Departments
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience in “financial services” required
- Flexible schedule
- Experience making payment arrangements with clients to bring accounts out of arrears status in a financial services setting
- Ability to understand customer needs, and offer appropriate options and solutions
- Comfortable in fast-paced, goal-driven in a friendly competitive environment
- A motivated team player, with ability to work among a team to achieve goals
- Considerable problem solving skills, as situations are constantly changing and unique
- Sound judgment and analysis to arrive at recommendations or conclusions
- Successful history within a goal driven performance environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Bilingual (French) an asset
- Ability to analyze and interpret then negotiate the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions and resolutions
