Job Description
Lucas Professional Search Group is currently working with a company in London, Ontario to hire a Marketing/Sales Representative.
Responsibilities include:
- play a key role in maintaining key accounts and develop new opportunities
- implement marketing strategies to attract customers
- form a strong understanding of product line and present same to applicable industries
- submit sales quotations and followup on all sales leads
- offer direction and advice to customers when selecting products
- manage the sales process from the first call through to closing the sale
- ability to adapt to changing requirements and needs
Qualifications include:
- education or background in marketing
- proven experience using creative marketing strategies to grow the business
- 2 - 3 years sales experience in a B2B market
- comfortable with making cold calls and finding new opportunities
- proficiency with MS Office suite with a strong knowledge of Excel
- understanding of margin, markup and pricing strategies
- ability to follow instructions and show leadership on assigned projects
- strong written and verbal communication skills
