Our client is a growing automotive manufacturer located north of London and they have an immediate requirement for an Engineering Manager. The Engineering Manager will manage, coordinate and be responsible for all engineering staff. The department will develop new products and processes to improve existing and new product lines.

- Develop, implement and maintain manufacturing methods
- Responsible for direction, leadership, coaching, coordination and evaluation of engineering personnel
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, directing, disciplining, developing and overall leadership for engineering personnel
- Partner with manufacturing department for developing processes, tooling and procedures to produce optimal production
- Prepare and maintain budgets, schedules, and capital expenditures
- Act as liaison with engineering personnel, equipment suppliers, raw material suppliers and customers in releasing new products
- Broad manufacturing engineering experiences, including standard developments, equipment justifications, plant layouts and facilities design in manufacturing industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or related Engineering field
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing standards ISO/TS 16949, ISO9001, PPAP, FMEA, project management tools and techniques.
- Experiences managing portfolio of manufacturing engineering projects in a setting having CNC equipment, automation, and assembly producing finish product from concept/part print using casting and forge raw material
