Job Description
TLC Landscaping is growing! We are looking for Landscape Design assistant who will work closely with the Design and Sales Manager. Your goal is to take the residential client’s ideas and incorporate them into a functional, beautiful landscape space which we will build.
You will be designing using Dynascape and costing with Dynascape Manage most of your days, preparing designs, doing revisions, doing material take-offs. You and your Manager will likely have 6-10 designs active at any one time. You will work closely with your Design Manager, and will be expected to follow his design instructions, yet come up with inventive solutions on your own.
This position begins in March and is 55-60 hours per week March-end June; 45-50 till November, and 25-30 Dec-March. This is a permanent, long-term position.
You will work two evenings a week till 8 or 9 pm during the busy season, plus some Saturday work as needed.
This is a salary position, based on experience. Having your own vehicle is an asset. Incentives and salary growth are possible after one year.
In winter, you will be involved in TLC’s snow removal operations on a part time, on call basis.
You are graduate of a recognized Landscape Design Program (3 year or more). You have 1 or more years of design experience.
