CADdetails.com Ltd is the leading provider of manufacturer-specific building product information, delivering high quality planning documents to architects, engineers, contractors, and other design industry professionals throughout North America. We are currently seeking a software developer for our consumer facing website and internal applications to be a part of our small development team.

Primary Responsibilities

As a software developer you will be expected to design and produce production level applications and consumer facing websites. You will be expected to have a full understanding of the Microsoft technology stack as you will be working in an ASP.NET / SQL Server environment. You will require an understanding of source control and be able to use Git as you work closely with a small team of developers.

Skill Requirements

• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, C#/VB.NET, and Git
• Design, code, and test new Windows and web software applications
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• Create technical specifications

Desirable Skills

• 3 – 5 years experience and a college level diploma in computer programming
• Previous experience in both front-end and back-end  web development
• Previous experience using the React JavaScript library and Ruby
• Have the ability to work and consult with other software developers as well as individually
• Be able to consult and communicate closely with management and other colleagues
