We are a heavy equipment industrial manufacturing company located in St. Thomas, Ontario that has an immediate requirement for an Intermediate Mechanical Assembler that is dedicated to working with quality and innovation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customized mobile heavy equipment assembly of construction equipment including booms and cranes
- Knowledge and experience in assembly of mechanical devices, hydraulic systems and sheet metal structures
- Knowledge and experience in assembly of drive train components and layout will be considered an asset
- Knowledge and experience in assembly of electrical components will be considered an asset
- Able to work effectively as a team member and independently
- Able to work in a fast paced environment on several assignments simultaneously
- Prospective candidates must have a college diploma as a Mechanical Technician or equivalent experience
- Prospective candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in assembly with mechanical systems including hydraulic systems
- Prospective candidates must also have a broad range of tools that are applicable to their respective trade
- Prospective candidates must have excellent work habits and a commitment to procedures and accuracy
- Will be determined based on education and experience
- Normal hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with the ability to work overtime as required periodically
